The <\/span>Bagsv\u00e4rd F<\/span>ort was build during the years <\/span>1892 and <\/span>1893. <\/span><\/p>\n

\nIt is triangular with a concrete casemate building in the throt and a dry moad.
\n<\/span><\/span>It is similar <\/span>to the Gladsaxe Fort.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fort was supposed to prevent hostile advance between the <\/span>Gladsaxe Fort and the <\/span>Lyngby Fort.<\/span><\/p>\n

120 mm. howitzer<\/p><\/div>\n

The main armament consisted of 8 pcs. of 1<\/span>20 mm Howitzers. Four of them were placed in disappearance turrets on top af the fort, and four were placed in the caponieres.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Fort is unique because <\/span>one of the observation turrets and the palisades are intact.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Fort was decommissioned in 1920.<\/p>\n
