The Gr\u00f6nsund Stronghold was constructed in the waters south of Zealand.
\nIt consisted af one coastal fort and two coastal batteries.<\/p>\n

The Gr\u00f6nsund stronghold<\/p><\/div>\n

Of the planned positions at the waters of this area, only the Gronsund position was built.
\nIt which consisted of the Masned\u00f6<\/a> Fortet, the Borgsted<\/a> Battery and the Haarb\u00f6lle<\/a> Battery.<\/p>\n

The first at the island og Masned\u00f6 and the last two batteries located on the southwestern part of the island of M\u00f6n.<\/p>\n

The other planned facilities, The Vejr\u00f6 Fort and the Helholm Battery were never built, just as a planned naval base at the strait of Masnedsund and the Masned\u00f6 was never implemented.<\/p>\n
